Tottenham are closing on a deal for QPR striker Loic Remy.
The Daily Star says the French striker, 27, was all set for an £8.5m move to Liverpool from QPR last month.
But the move broke down at the 11th hour and that has opened the door for Spurs to make a move.
But they will have to pay £2.5m MORE than the fee Liverpool agreed with Rangers.
Remy had a clause in his contract allowing him to move on a cut-price deal if a Champions League club came in for him.
Tottenham, though, will have to stump up £11m to bag the forward after they finished sixth in the table last season.
