Former Tottenham star Ossie Ardiles is heading back to Argentina after he was involved in a car accident in the Falkland Islands.
The ex-Argentina, who helped his country win the 1978 World Cup, was in the Falklands to film a documentary with former Albiceleste and Spurs teammate Ricky Villa when the car they were travelling in crashed.
Ardiles was admitted to hospital and required 20 stitches in his head but has since been released to head back home to Argentina.
"I can confirm that (soundman) Carlos Marcellan and Ossie Ardiles were last night transferred to Buenos Aires for further investigations. We hope they both have a speedy recovery," said a spokesperson for the Falkland Islands Government.
