Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he's delighted with the form of Tom Huddlestone this season.
The midfielder is ever-present in the league this time around and has started 10 of the 11 matches in Premier/Champions League.
"Tom's done great for us," Redknapp told the Spurs website. "He's a great passer of the ball, he can pick players out, he keeps possession for you. He's got everything, really.
"He made some great blocks for us in the game against FC Twente.
"Just as players were about to unload from the edge of the penalty box, Tom came in and made some fantastic stops for us. He's added that to his game as well, the defensive side is better.
"I have said to him that he has to hold and give us stability as everyone else is looking to bomb forward. He's a clever player and understands the game well."
On Huddlestone's distribution, Redknapp adds: "He's a fantastic passer of the ball with both feet.
"He doesn't know if he's left-footed or right-footed, they feel exactly the same, which is amazing and a great advantage when players try to close you down.
"They think 'we'll close him, keep him on his right' or on his left, whatever, but they can't with him. It gives him so many more options."
