Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp inists a deal for Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra is not dead.
Spurs are keen to further strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes and Redknapp is not giving up on his pursuit of Diarra.
"Things haven't broken down," said Redknapp. "There is still a good chance. The chairman is working on it.
"I signed him at Portsmouth and they sold him for £22million.
"He's real talent, a fantastic player and it's a real possibility still."
