Tottenham attacker James Maddison admits his combination with Heung-min Son still needs work.
Maddison they're still getting used to eachother.
He said: “There were a few sessions in pre-season and on tour when I was thinking, 'Maybe we're on a little bit different wavelengths'. Not just with Sonny, all the attackers. It takes time.
“The best relationships on the pitch, you have to build up. You have to get used to each other.
“Playing in my last club with Jamie Vardy, he would do different stuff to what Sonny does.
“It was about learning the runs he likes to make. I'm a player who likes to turn and get assists and play through-balls, but you have to be on the same wavelength as your striker for it to be successful.
“It did take a bit of time in training, and talking to each other and getting used to it, but I feel we're getting there."
