Maik Taylor admits the Birmingham City dressing room has been unsettled by Steve Bruce's move to Wigan Athletic.

The experienced goalkeeper said: "As much as you want to try to focus on the playing side, it is hard not to be aware of what is going on. It has been unsettling but we are pros, we have to get our heads down."

He added: "It is not ideal situation. If someone can come in, the quicker we can get down to the aim of staying in the Premier League. The quicker it is resolved, one way or the other, the better."
