Swansea City are waiting to hear from Vitesse Arnhem about their offer for Wilfried Bony.

Algemeen Dagblad says Swansea tabled a major offer for the Ivorian earlier this week and are waiting on a response from Vitesse.

The Dutch club are likely to be waiting for counter offers to arrive for Bony, with the likes of Newcastle United and Stoke City being linked with the striker.

Bony is due back at Vitesse next week after his summer break spent this week in Paris.
