Promoted Swansea City is keen to have Tottenham youngster Steven Caulker at the club on loan.
The 19-year old defender has spent the past two seasons on loan with Yeovil Town and Bristol City and impressed at Ashton Gate so much last term that manager Keith Millen is keen to have him back.
But Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has made it clear that the Spurs teenager could be an option for the Welsh club who will compete in the Premier League next term.
"Steven Caulker, yes, is a player Brendan (Rodgers) is interested in bringing in," said Jenkins.
"We're actually speaking to Tottenham about that, and we'll hope to perhaps conclude something this week."
