Swansea City boss Garry Monk expects a busy final few days of the summer market.
Monk hopes there will be further movement, with top targets having been identified and approached.
He said in the South Wales Evening Post: "I hope we can get things finalised - I'm trying to do that.
"It's never easy, there are a lot of issues with every deal, but hopefully we can get something mopped up as soon as possible.
"I've already said we need one or two more and hopefully we can get it done this week.
"The squad is looking good but I still feel every team at this level should have two players competing for every position.
"We have some younger lads who will be very good in the future, but in terms of first team experience and having enough to go straight into the team, we need two in each position and we haven't got that quite at the moment.
"That's why we need one or two more."
