Sunderland defender Michael Turner was delighted for two-goal Jordan Henderson after victory over Wigan Athletic.
He reserved praise for team-mate Henderson, who scored twice to help secure a crucial win.
Henderson was taken out of the starting line-up for the West Brom game earlier in the month but has bounced back with fine performances in each of his last two games.
"I'm really pleased for Jordan," Turner told safc.com. "He has played well since coming back into the team and came up with two good finishes today.
"The goals will do wonders for his confidence."
