Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has played down talk of Emanuele Giaccherini's departure.

The midfielder is interesting West Ham United and Hull City.

Poyet said: "It is too soon to be talking about that because nobody knows really.

"I am surprised they are talking about it so early because the season is not finished."
