Stuttgart midfielder Naouirou Ahamada is in talks to move to England.

Crystal Palace have opened talks to sign the Stuttgart star, reports The Athletic.

The 20-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga this season and is seen as an ideal candidate to provide depth in central midfield.

Palace management are stepping up efforts to improve their squad this week.

The Eagles are keen to sign a right-back and striker as well as Ahamada, though Patrick Vieira's side 'won't do deals for the sake of it'.
