Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has launched a £4 million bid for West Ham United.

The Sun says Pulis is ready to test Hammers' resolve over keeping Noble, 23, who has been a regular under Avram Grant this term.

Noble possibly upped his price by scoring against Birmingham in last night's Carling Cup semi-final first leg.

The midfielder is Hammers mad and will take persuading to quit Upton Park.
