Stoke keeper Sorensen ok after head injury - Pulis

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is fine despite having to be replaced during yesterday's 1-0 away win over Everton.

The Danish gloveman received accidental contact to the head from Toffees forward Tim Cahill in the second half at Goodison Park and eventually succumbed to mild concussion with Asmir Begovic stepping in but manager Tony Pulis says everything is ok.

"It's mild concussion. 20 or 25 minutes after the game he was OK," Pulis told The Sentinel.

"He's having his energy drink with the rest of the players, so he's fine. They'd have put smelling salts on him a few years ago."
