Stoke City are interested in Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson.
The Swede comes off contract next month and is yet to hear from the club about a new deal.
SportExpressen.se says Stoke boss Mark Hughes is keen to keep Larsson in the Premier League.
"The contract will expire, there is no decision taken about the future, but of course it is the case that when a contract expires, there is a chance to play football elsewhere when no new contract is offered," he said.
