Abdoulaye Faye has been assured he has a place in Stoke City plans.
Potters boss Tony Pulis insisted that Faye is no forgotten man after losing his place in central defence two games ago to Ryan Shawcross and Robert Huth.
"He's disappointed and has been a little bit down, a bit like Glenn (Whelan) and one or two others.
"But they've got to try to do what Asmir has done by staying patient and taking their chance when it comes.
"Abdy has been a big part of what we have done here at this club and remains a big part of what we're still trying to do at the Britannia."
