Stefanovic: I chose Fulham ahead of Rangers, Middlesbrough

Fulham defender Dejan Stefanovic has revealed he turned down several offers when he chose to leave Portsmouth in the summer.

"I've settled very well to be honest," he told fulhamfc.com. "Fulham is a great club, with so many good young players in the team. The facilities are excellent, the staff are excellent, the atmosphere is excellent and I'm enjoying every minute at the moment.

"I had offers from Glasgow Rangers and Middlesbrough, but Fulham were interested and I decided after a meeting with Lawrie Sanchez. He explained what he wanted from me and I decided very quickly."

Stefanovic also revealed he plans to go into coaching - in England - when he hangs up his boots.

"Definitely. This is my ninth season in the Premier League, next year it will be 10 and for me, playing in England is the best, so I'd like to stay here. I will see for how long, but when I finish playing football I would like to live in England for good."
