Tottenham are ready to engage in talks with Fulham to secure a key defender.

The North London club, undergoing a squad revamp under boss Ange Postecoglou, are ready to sign Tosin Adarabioyo.

Per Foot Mercato, Spurs and Fulham will negotiate over the permanent signing of Adarabioyo.

The 25-year-old only has a year left on his contract, which means he is available for a modest fee.

The 6ft5in center back is seen as having the qualities to play in Postecoglou's system.

Having excelled under an attacking coach in Marco Silva, Spurs will be hoping he can translate that form to their team next term.
