Sporting CP are ready to accept Wolves' offer for Rui Patricio.
The Birmingham Mail says Sporting are set to accept Wolves' offer of £17.8m as the two clubs seek to agree a value for Patricio.
The Portuguese international made the move to Molineux this summer, but with Sporting in disarray, and following the attack of the club's squad by a group of masked intruders at the training ground in May, he left having mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Wolves announced the signing of the 30-year-old this summer ahead of their Premier League return.
Sporting have disputed the manner of Patricio's exit, however; the Primeira Liga side claimed they'd be looking for compensation after losing him in a deal overseen by agent Jorge Mendes.
