Sporting CP midfielder Joao Palhinha is set to join Fulham.

O Jogo says Palhinha is undergoing a Fulham medical today with his bags packed for a move to London.

Palhinha turns 27 next week and his agents reached terms with Fulham over a four-year contract.

Fulham have beaten Wolves to Palhinha's signing as they dithered over the fee Sporting were demanding.

The Cottagers were quick to offer €20m for the Portugal international, which Sporting duly accepted.
