Southampton signing Romeo Lavia admits speaking with Belgium youth teammate Kazeem Olaigbe about moving to St Mary's.

Olaigbe is now on loan at Ross County having signed a fresh deal at Saints in February.

"I spoke to Kazeem especially, because I grew up with him," Lavia, who arrived from Manchester City, told the club website.

“I spoke to him about how it was here at the club and he gave me good advice on where to live, how it is here. From there, I was really pleased.

“It's good to start as early as possible, so you can get to know the players, the staff, get used to the facilities and create a good chemistry to get on and do something nice together."
