Southampton are ready to slap in a bid for Blackpool winger Matt Phillips.
The Daily Mail says Southampton are ready to offer £5.5million to take Blackpool midfielder Phillips in January.
Swansea City have also made an offer but that is understood to be around £3.5m.
The 21-year-old is out until late December after surgery on a torn toe muscle.
