Southampton boss Claude Puel has questioned whether Jose Mourinho can keep all his Manchester United stars happy.

Puel believes Mourinho will struggle to give his big names all the game time they want.

Puel, who takes his side to United tonight, said: “I don't know how the manager can have all these great players together.

“It is difficult to remain a collective with two or three players for every position on the pitch.

“I'm sure they can be one of the favourites for the win of the championship. I hope we can slow them down and take one or three points from Manchester United.

“The most important thing for us is not to consider them as a great team with great players but consider them as opponents with good opportunities to get a good result.

“It is hard to know how they play. I look just at their two last games against Leicester and Bournemouth because the team changed this summer, players changed and the manager changed as well.

“It's important to stay with the view of this team now and not yesterday."
