Portsmouth goalkeeper David James has revealed fifteen year-old son DJ is getting serious about a career in football.

DJ James is a midfielder and currently on the books at Bournemouth.

James Snr told The Times: "I wasn't sure in the past how serious he was, but now he is and he's giving it a crack. He's asking me for help with his fitness and his training, which is nice, but I've said to him, like I've said to kids across the world, that he will have to work for it. It's not all plain sailing."
