Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign Ryan Meadows as he prepares to leave Wigan Athletic.
Sky Sports is of the belief that the Owls will soon complete a one-year deal to bring the 19-year old to Hillsborough after he failed to force his way into Uwe Rosler's first team at the DW Stadium.
Meadows came through Wigan's academy but his lack of opportunities after signing a pro deal last year has forced him to look elsewhere for regular game time which Wednesday boss Stuart Gray is believed to have offered.
