Shakhtar Donetsk Coach Mircea Lucescu has commented on the problems at former club Inter Milan this season.

Lucescu had a season in charge of Inter in 1998.

"Inter have been highly inconsistent this season," he told Palermo24.net. "They have paid a heavy price for the injuries to important players.

"The club has remained in my heart. I am very fond of the team, so I have great sympathy for the disappointments of this season.

"The Nerazzurri won it all under Mourinho, but the Portuguese Coach squeezed every last drop out of each player.

"He got the most out of the group. Mou's farewell closed a cycle."
