Sevilla president Del Nido: Juventus offer for Caceres still falls short

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido says Juventus are still falling short over their bid for defender Martin Caceres.

Juve have been in talks with Sevilla since before Christmas for the Uruguay international.

"Juventus is improving its offer, but stops short of what Sevilla is asking for someone of Caceres' youth and international experience. We have a market price that Juve has not reached and we have no pressing need to sell," Del Nido told local reporters.

Asked for a price, he added, "A little over €10 million ..."
