Former Real Madrid star Clarence Seedorf is backing Barcelona's move for Lyon ace Memphis Depay.
Off contract in June, Depay is a top January target for Barca coach Ronald Koeman.
Seedorf told Stats Perform News: "I think Memphis Depay is one of the major talents in Europe right now. He had a serious injury, but he's a player who has to be at a big club sooner or later. If it's in Barcelona, it will be better for them.
"He and Koeman have worked really well together [in the past]. Sincerely, Koeman has done a great job with the national team, and especially with players like Memphis Depay, giving them the confidence to come out and show their talent.
"I am convinced that any big club that signs him will be delighted with his talent. Barcelona are in a moment of transition, and whenever they can bring in players like Memphis, they will prepare for the future."
