New MLS powerhouse Seattle Sounders made their expansion draft picks today. Each expansion team is allowed to select ten players from the league, with two restrictions, only one player from any club and not any of the eleven players protected by their team.

Seattle made the following choices:

Jeff Parke, (New York Red Bulls) James Riley (San Jose Earthquakes) Nathan Sturgis (Real Salt Lake), Tyson Wahl (Kansas City Wizards), Brad Evans (Columbus Crew), Stephen King (Chicago Fire), Khano Smith (New England Revolution), Peter Vagenas (Los Angeles Galaxy), Nate Jaqua (Houston Dynamo), Jarrod Smith (Toronto FC).
