Andre Schurrle wants to make it clear that he is not Marko Marin.
The 22-year old German striker joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen this summer with some critics suggesting he will not make it in the Premier League in similar fashion to Marin.
The 24-year old arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2012 but now finds himself on loan with Sevilla, however, Schurrle is confident the same won't happen to him.
"I am Andre Schurrle and I don't compare myself to others," he told Kicker.
"I have my own qualities and enough confidence to say I feel strong enough to come out on top here. It is a great challenge but I am delighted that I took this chance."
Schurrle may get his first opportunity for the Blues when they take on top flight returnees Hull City at home on Sunday in their season opener.
