The Brazil giants have offered their facilities to Adriano to stay fit as he is treated for depression at a specialist clinic in the city.

"We have given the green light for his physiotherapy treatment to be held here. We welcome him with great enthusiasm because this is part of our philosophy," said Sao Paulo manager Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes.

"We would like to see Adriano remain with us at least a couple of months, at least until mid-2008 to play in the Copa Libertadores."
