Salifou happy to be patient at Villa

Mustapha Salifou has no regrets over his move to Aston Villa, despite his lack of first team chances.

The Togo midfielder said: "I'm going fine here. I'm training well, it's a good club and I'm happy to be here. I play regularly for the reserves. I've played in France, Switzerland and Germany. Now I am enjoying the challenge of playing in the English Premier League."

Villa boss Martin O'Neill gave a hint Salifou will play a part soon when he said: "We're hoping that at some stage he'll have a proper chance to play.

"Everyone at this club wants to start in the team, and that's what we want."
