Cristiano Ronaldo is excited about the squad Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has assembled this season.

He said: "With this squad we have more of an opportunity to win all three competitions. We have added Owen Hargreaves, Anderson, Nani and Carlos Tevez.

"It is a great squad now. It is not just about Cristiano but 20 fantastic players.

"I've played for this club for five years and I want to stay. There is everything I need here - the manager, players, supporters and a superb stadium.

"I will be here until they do not want me here any more."

Ronaldo aims to help Nani, 20, and Anderson, 19, settle in.

He said: "I know the club, the mentality and the football here so I will try to pass that on to them."
