Portugal veteran Cristiano Ronaldo has held talks with Al-Nassr about a move to Saudi Arabia.
The forward is out of contract, having been released by Manchester United this winter.
The 37-year-old had hoped to find a European club for his next team, where he could play Champions League football.
However, CBS Sports states that Ronaldo's representatives and Al-Nassr have been engaged in direct talks since the World Cup concluded.
If the forward chooses to call time on his career in Europe, he would soften the blow with a mammoth £160 million-per-season contract.
Recently, both Eintracht Frankfurt and Sporting CP denied claims they were interested in signing Ronaldo.
