Roma coach Claudio Ranieri had no complaints about Jeremy Menez after his missed a spotkick in their 1-1 draw at Europa League opponents Fulham last night.

Ranieri was still pleased with the Frenchman's performance and declared: "He was positive, did some great things, has played some good balls.

"Pity about the penalty, he happened to be wrong, but that's OK."

On the game, Ranieri added: "This is a team that never gives up and this gives me hope. We certainly deserved this draw, if not more."
