Roma coach Jose Mourinho has turned down an approach from the Brazilian Football Federation.

Former Porto winger Carlos Alberto has declared Mourinho will be the next Brazil coach.

But Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reports Mourinho does not want to leave Roma and so will not accept the offer, committing to his project in the Italian capital.

The Portuguese has a deal with Roma to 2024.

Mourinho has been with Roma since July 2021 and guided them to their first ever European title in the Europa Conference League last season.
