Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto says there's no panic over Portugal's interest in coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is being linked with the Portugal job following Fernando Santos' departure after the World Cup.

But Pinto said: "When you take a coach like Mourinho you have to be prepared for the rumours. In these eighteen months it was not the first time that another club or Federation became interested in him.

"But in the Algarve we have not suffered distractions. Our only focus was to improve to return to winning immediately.

"I am Portuguese, every time Portugal changes ct we talk about Mourinho. But we plan to move forward with him."
