AS Roma captain Daniele de Rossi has talked up coach Eusebio di Francesco and his teammates after an impressive season.
De Rossi is delighted Roma will again compete in the Champions League next season.
“Di Francesco? Some people turned their noses at his appointment," he told Roma TV.
“It wasn't easy to pick the team up after we set a Serie A points record, but it's turned out to be a winning choice.
“Totti? Our first season without him was complicated. Not seeing him on the pitch anymore was a shock for both us and the fans.
“Alisson? Initially I wondered why we spent €10-12m on a goalkeeper if we already had Szczesny.
“However, I soon realised that Alisson was a phenomenon and cares for Roma. Pallotta? I see in him the desire to create something important.
“He became No 1 in his work and I hope he continues to strengthen the team because everyone here deserves a trophy.
“Scudetto? We want to bother Juve all the way and maybe snatc the Scudetto from under their noses!"
