Inter Milan are making a move for PSG superstar Lionel Messi.

Off contract in June, Messi is considering his options with PSG eager to hand him a new contract.

A return to Barcelona is also being mooted, but it's now emerged that Inter are making their move.

That's according to Argentine journalist Sergio A. Gonzalez, who states that Nerazzurri Vice-President Javier Zanetti could be a key factor in this prospective move to bring in the legendary former Barcelona man.

He posted to social media: “Early morning Messi bombshell. A reliable source tells me that Inter intend to sign Leo.

“Zanetti would be a factor.

“Contract extension talks are deadlocked in Paris, Barca are restricted by FFP and seemingly on the River Thebes – Will Pupi [Zanetti] manage to get him?"
