Manchester City trio Leroy Sané, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan were personal signings for Pep Guardiola, it has been revealed.
All three players joined City from the Bundesliga, having been watched closely by Guardiola during his time in charge of Bayern Munich.
Zeitmagazin says Guardiola was always determined to work with the trio - no matter where he ended up.
Indeed, if he had remained with Bayern, Guardiola would have insisted they sign the three midfielders.
The Catalan had no doubt he would've kept Bayern top of the pile in Germany by signing the trio.
