Liverpool are lining up Zenit St Petersburg coach Andre Villas-Boas to replace Brendan Rodgers. The Sunday Times says FSG owner John W. Henry is looking at possible replacements for Rodgers and considering hiring former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Villas-Boas, 37, is currently managing Zenit St Petersburg, and is on course to win the Russian Premier League in his first season in charge.
If Henry does sack Rodgers and replaces him with Villas-Boas he would almost certainly face a backlash from Reds fans due to the club's rivalry with Chelsea.
