Newcastle United matchwinner Loic Remy hailed Tim Krul's performance for victory at Tottenham.
Krul produced a string of fine saves to keep Spurs at bay at White Hart Lane.
"Tim was brilliant," Remy told the club's website.
"In my opinion he was the man of the match and there is no competition.
"He was simply amazing and we needed that. Everyone put in great performances but Tim was on a different level.
"I have played with a lot of very good goalkeepers in my career but today Tim's performance was the best I've seen. He preserved the score for us and helped us win."
