Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is happy with his role in their system.

Khedira fulfils the defensive duties in Real's midfield.

He said: "We have an incredibly attacking team, with the best forwards in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo, Özil, Higuaín and Benzema are top quality strikers. It is very important to balance a solid defence and not just give everything in attack. I think one of my functions as a midfielder is to keep a good balance between defence and attack."
