Real Madrid fullback Dani Carvajal has jumped to the defence of teammates Marcelo and Isco.
The pair were largely blamed for Sunday's thrashing by Valencia.
But Carvajal insists they do not deserve the criticism, saying on La Razon: "It's not fair. We all lose, but the reality is that when things don't go well, they look for guilty parties and it is said that there are players who are not at their best level. That has happened to me a lot.
"Sometimes, you have to get over it, work hard and keep going: in a snap of your fingers, everything changes."
On the criticism of coach Zinedine Zidane, he continued: "All teams go through good and worst moments. From the inside, no one doubts Zidane and from the outside it should not be. He is a great coach, he has many solutions and every year he has given titles to the Madrid."
