Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster hints he could drop Raul for in-form Gonzalo Higuain.
"There are many ways to deal with Raul, who like any other striker depends on the goals he scores," said Schuster. "There's a need because his work is valued by goals. The question is not where to regain confidence, but when.
"Higuain is also in great shape, strong and pressing for selection. It's complicated, but we have to look for the best.
"It is true that Raul is the captain, a scorer of many goals and has an advantage of being a very important player. So I have to decide. We must recognize his record and respect it."
