Real Betis fullback Martin Montoya admits he's suffering the worst moment of his career.

Montoya, having returned from injury, is now third choice wing-back at Betis.

He said: "I've had a very bad time. It's the worst moment I've had in my career. Being the third, apart from the injuries that limit you, knowing that if one doesn't play, the other plays, but you don't... you have to be very strong mentally because if you don't give up, you'll throw yourself off the bike.

"It is a long time that one has to think, a long time without playing.

"You see everything black, but whoever knows me knows that I am a guy hard-working, hard-working, humble. I know what there is and I work waiting for my opportunity."
