Rayo Vallecano coach Paco Jemez admits there's no chance of holding onto Raul de Tomas.

The Real Madrid striker impressed on-loan despite Rayo's relegation this season.

"I would like to tell you that there is a possibility [to sign De Tomas], but I do not think there is a chance, and it is not a matter of pessimism or optimism," Jemez told Radio MARCA.

"The other day I spoke with the sports director of a Spanish team and he said: 'We were interested in Raul de Tomas and do you know how much [Real Madrid] asked us for him?

"When he told me, I couldn't believe it as it was a lot more than 10 million euros, and he's worth it."
