QPR boss Chris Ramsey has expressed his desire to pick up three points in this week's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

The R's will face Villa on Tuesday night at Villa Park for what could be a turning in each of team's relegation struggles with the winner either climbing out of the drop zone (QPR) or moving five points clear of the bottom three (Villa).

"That [a win] would be a fantastic boost for us because it would see us above the line," said Ramsey.

"It would give the fans a lot of hope that we have a chance of staying up and obviously it will give us a lot of hope for the game against Chelsea on Sunday. We're just looking to get a positive result tomorrow."
