QPR boss Harry Redknapp admits he'd like to take some of his former Tottenham players to Loftus Road.

Redknapp revealed he tried to speak with chairman Daniel Levy this week about the possibility of getting some Spurs stars to the Hoops.

He added: "They've got a few players there and I was just going to have a chat and see if there is anyone we could do with.

"Let's not kid ourselves, he's not going to say 'Good old Harry, let's help him'.

"This is his time of the year - January, he loves it.

"On the last day he will be coming on doing his three-for-one deals and buy one get one free, that's how he works."
