Jamie Mackie has had a transfer request accepted by QPR as he edges closer to a move to Nottingham Forest.
Forest recently lodged a £1.5million bid for the striker who has now been given permission to leave Loftus Road to undertake the next chapter in his career provided the price is right.
"Jamie Mackie has today submitted a transfer request, which the club have reluctantly accepted," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The 27 year-old has informed the club of his desire to leave, having found first-team opportunities limited at Loftus Road in the last six months.
"As previously stated, no player will leave QPR unless the club's valuation is met."
